Hmmm.... what has been going on over hear in N.S.

I was greeted by a smiling little girl this morning whom at first glance looked like she had that cute sleepy eye looking going on, but a half hour later and that cute look was actually a swollen eye look. Yes, both eyes were swollen and you can only guess what the reason was.... the dreaded P. E. Yup, it has invaded my home. Needless to say, I called the doctor and after a brief visit, confirmed the Pink Eye and discovered an ear infection as well. Great, thanks Doc. At least there is no school/day care tomorrow anyway so I don't have to worry about keeping her home. I must give a shout out to grandma for being willing to watch my kids even with goopy, swollen eyes.

David has been waking up with crusties also. That is due to his tear ducts being blocked. Keep the Mucinex coming.

I think when a child is born into a family, they should come with a stock certificate in cold/fever medicine!!!! While it has been shown that cold medicine is not good for young children, there are still some that are good to give like Mucinex. Kids are nothing but germ breeders, especially little ones. Don't get me wrong, I still will love and kiss my little goopy nose and eye germ breeders, but they are really gross.
