School Days

Okay, so this is my first time really blogging and I decided that I would write about my sons journey in school. Yes, to some it may seem boring, but to mothers, it will hopefully resonate familiarity and even produce some advice.

Lets see.... the most impresive thing about his schooling is his writing. He has improved so much since preschool. Seriously, did I just say that?! Yup, in kindergarten penmanship begins. I am truely amazed at how much he is learning.

Every morning I get to check his backpack to ensure that nothing is leaving the house that could be lost or confiscated i.e. little plastic pirates, reptile books, etc.. He says that he needs to do something while on the bus. The mind of a 5 year old.

Another amazing thing is that my daughter who is 3, is also starting to write her name. I can hear the unanmious uh-ohs from all of you. Yes, she knows what she wants and that is to do things that everyone else is doing and doing them on her own.

School days are quite interesting!!!
